Some days, we all need to take a mental health day. If you truly feel like you cannot deal with something right now or you are just so worn out you need a break, call out sick to work. You’re not operating at your best, and sometimes we all need a mental health day.
You may think it’s cheesy, but these books are great. I have a few suggestions for reading a self help book. Girl Wash Your Face and 7 Habits of Highly Effective People are two of my personal favorites. They’re great motivators, and everyone can benefit from reading.
Every day, first thing, eat the frog. For those unfamiliar with this term, this means knock out that hard to do task or that task that you are dreading. Get it over with, and then move on to better things.
