We always feel like we have to get so much done during the week and weekends, but it’s ok to kick back and relax. Turn on Netflix, watch some movies, read a book, do a little bit of nothing.
One of my favorite ways to relax is to start a puzzle. There are other benefits to it as well, including increased memory.
Make sure you’re taking care of yourself, and taking time to recharge, as often as you charge your cell phone.
Did you know that one lazy day a week can help reduce stress, blood pressure, risk of stroke, and risk of heart disease? So listen to your body and take a lazy day. With all the running around we do, taking a day to just relax and catch up on your favorite shows or just hang with friends sounds pretty nice.
Make sure you find whatever works for you to sit back and relax.
Take a few minutes, unroll your yoga mat, and practice some yoga or meditation. Give yourself a few minutes of finding your Zen and relaxing after the busy couple of days you’ve had. Holidays can be rough, so stay calm.
