Now that Thanksgiving is over, you can officially decorate for Christmas! (If you couldn’t hold off that long, it’s ok) . Pick one room at a time to decorate, and completely finish that room with your color and decor scheme.
If you’re braving the stores and shopping this morning, please remember to be kind. Having worked retail myself for years, I can tell you, this day is a marathon for many workers there, and a kind smile can really help when you’re running around like crazy (on very little sleep I might add).
Happy Thanksgiving Y’all! I hope everyone is enjoying time with their family and loved ones today, and enjoying it however you like. Take a minute and reflect on all you’re grateful for this year, and all the blessings you’ve been given, even if it’s been a hard year.
I know it’s tempting to wait until the last minute to fill that suitcase, but if you’re traveling to visit family or just taking advantage of your extra long weekend, pack your bags early. That gives you more time for forgetting something, and remembering before you’re already gone.
It’s Thanksgiving week, and that means lots of traveling. Whether you are driving to see family or having them come see you, fill up your car with gas before work. You’ll beat the crowds, and be able to get on your way much faster.
Get up and get started on your chores! Don’t leave them to sit, but get the laundry in the washer, get to vacuuming, and get it done so you can rest and relax the rest of the day.
For all my cat owners, y’all need to get a self cleaning cat box. It will save your life, and with so many versions on the market, you can find one that works for your budget. Your cat will be happier, and hopefully you’ll have less messes around the house.
For all the tough choices in life, make yourself a pro/con list. It’ll give you clarity, and help you have a visual of each side of a decision.
In the morning, allot yourself some time to quickly mop down your floors before you head out to work, school, yoga, wherever you’re going. This way, you’ll have clean, dry floors when you get back.
It’s hard not to compare yourself to others, we do it even subconsciously, so try to make a conscious choice to only compare yourself to you. Make yourself better, don’t focus on where everyone else is in their journey.
